Time to leave

by hummingbird   Jul 28, 2008

Should I shed my tears?
As I watched you love me like tomorrow was time borrowed, touch with hands so gentle it was all experimental.
Kisses so sweet it could only lead to deceit.

Soon you cum and the world has now tumbled down and I am standing middle stage as a circus clown with a huge frown whose act is now done.

Should I shed my tears?
For someone whose only belief is in his momentary relief am i to remain in grief?
As you usher me to the door
Why should it be that you have the last say?
This is where it ends time to leave you said and watched as I stood there should I have shed tears then for you to see that this is where my heart wants to be?
Tears for you has long since been cried through many a years.
Fears should bring tears now that old wounds reopened, no tears will fall from these eyes.

I loved you and know I had to leave you but i loved you none the less so now i say bless cause lord knows I am not stressed.

a work in progress any comments will be appreciated
