A life just like a play.

by bleedingximperfection   Jul 29, 2008

My life is being acted out like a play
I act shy and happy all day
That smile on my face is just part of a scene,
The only scene my parents can ever see
This play has been on for awhile
Way back when I was a child
The days are getting harder to act
I messed up today, in fact
They found out about another scene
They saw the cuts when I pulled up my sleeve
I didn't have a big applause
Me asking myself, what have I caused
So now my scenes are getting out of hand
They know about my secret, which is making it hard to stand
This stage has taken over me
But it's a good thing I still have a secret, they didn't look above my knee
I'm standing in center stage, with a knife laying against my side
Going deeper every second, until theres nothing else left to hide.
The play is done and over, no more acting will occur
Now that I'm dead the applauses should get louder, I'm sure
