I Will Wait

I will wait for the time us humans evolve into something more,
Then monkeys with knowledge and visions of war.
I will wait for the time when we let our hearts sore,
and evil may rest forevermore.
O! I will wait for the time when death will not be forever knocking on my door.
I will wait for the time when fairy-tales become more then lore,
when my mind will escape and explore,
all the story's that lay open on the floor which,
till now have been forgotten and missed and left as a chore.
O! I will wait for the time, I realize I'll be waiting forevermore.
