His eyes I could never forget...

by Alica   Jul 29, 2008

His face is worn from many of years
Creased from all the thoughts and tears.
His back hunched from all the wieght,
Of the world, the decisions, up to this date.
His soul tired and lost of its spark,
Where his wishes and desires hide in the dark.
Hes so much older, and some say more wise.
Though his youth still may be found in disguise.
His eyes hold what you still remains in him
So bright and vivid that not even time could dim
them of their color and their wonder within
Wonder first saw and questioned when life begins.
His eyes where all his wisdom may lie,
There to stay till the day when he may die
Such brilliant eyes as that, I will never forget.
I would have never been ready to have met,
Such a thought, and so quickly come too.
Why is it that so many years, or so few,
That they do not change, but remain the same?
His eyes posses a fire inside that not even time can tame.
