What an impact you had on my way of seeing things,
You helped me greatly appreciate what was around me.
Whenever I think of your loving heart and kindness,
I shed a tear, wishing you wouldn't have gone away.

This is a beautiful tribute you have written to someone who evidently touched your life very deeply. 5/5...Jim

"Thoughts of you cover my tired and weary mind,
As I reminisce the joyful moments we had together.
Wise words, faithful promises, heartfelt sympathy,
The presence of Christ always glowed in your heart."

^^ I thought this stanza opened the poem very well. I must say, however, I dislike the last line. "Glowed" sounds wrong, and it kinda throws me off.

"Flashbacks of the past appear suddenly in my head,
I try to cherish those wonderful times and memories.
But the hurtful pain never fades or dies away one bit,
For your unexpected death was so heartbreaking."

^^ I liked this stanza, a lot. I just don't like the wrods "hurtful pain" next to each other. Most pain hurts, so it's kinda obvious.

"You lived thousands of miles away from me,
But that didn't destroyed the bond we shared.
I just wish I could have said one final goodbye,
And let you know once again, how much I love you."

^^ In the second line, "destroyed" should be "destroy". Other than that, the stanza is beautiful.

"What an impact you had on my way of seeing things,
You helped me greatly appreciate what was around me.
Whenever I think of your loving heart and kindness,
I shed a tear, wishing you wouldn't have gone away."

^^ Aw. This stanza made me genuinely sad. It's amazing the impact someone can have on your life, and it makes it that much harder when you lose them.

"Yet there will never be a single minute that passes by,
Where you'll become just a distant forgotten memory.
You were a real remarkable saint to me and all others,
And a special place in my heart is saved, just for you."

^^ Wow. This was so deep, and I loved it. It was so beautiful. Everything about this piece was beautiful.

    Great job, really.

    Five out of five.

"Thoughts of you cover my tired and weary mind,
As I reminisce the joyful moments we had together.
Wise words, faithful promises, heartfelt sympathy,

-A very stunning beginning stanza. Drew my attention in instantly.Made me want to read on.

"Flashbacks of the past appear suddenly in my head,
I try to cherish those wonderful times and memories.
But the pain never fades or dies away one bit,
For your unexpected death was so heartbreaking."

-Wow as from my own expierence, I can feel the pain and anguish in this particular stanza.

" You lived thousands of miles away from me,
But that didn't destroy the bond we shared.
I just wish I could have said one final goodbye,
And let you know once again, how much I love you."

-Agian, very powerfeul words! I'm sure alot of others have expierenced the pain of what was never said. A very hard thing to cope with.

"What an impact you had on my way of seeing things,
You helped me greatly appreciate what was around me.
Whenever I think of your loving heart and kindness,
I shed a tear, wishing you wouldn't have gone away."

-Along with tradgedy comes great life lessons. It's great that it was able to show you the precious life we live, but the pain of the loss still aches. But remember o live life to the fullest.

"Yet there will never be a single minute that passes by,
Where you'll become just a distant forgotten memory.
You were a real remarkable saint to me and all others,
And a special place in my heart is saved, just for you."

-Very powerful, and sad ending. There are some poems athat end, and you feel like there could be more. But this one ends perfectly

I'm sorry you also had to suffer a loss. I nkow how it feels. I suffer greatly still. And he will never be a distant memory. Keep his/her memory alive each day! And I hope things only get better for you.
