I'd do anything to keep her here.

An ambulance shows up in her drive way
Sitting by the window crying, wishing I was there
I walk over to her house, not knowing what to say
She says everything will be okay as she sweeps away my hair.

Nervous as ever I give her a hug and tell her I'll always be here
Her mom runs over and holds my hand and tells me not to cry
Corrine tells me to come along, just so I am near
I hop in with my friend, and asked some questions and tell her not to lie

These were her answers to the questions I asked
"Life's too difficult, my heart wouldn't last"
"I cut my side, and it bled too fast"

"I didn't want to end up alive"
"My boyfriend called, and said he hated me at five"

"I need you here, please don't go"
"I need you bad, I just want you to know"

It made me feel like I was killing my friend
So that day I did everything I could, so her life wouldn't end

She's still alive so far today, And I told her I wanted to keep it this way.

-This happened the other day, my friend attempted suicide. If you didn't get the hint.-
