Tears

Nights may seem longer,
But the stars brighter.
More brilliant than ever.
As if shining just for our pleasure
Minutes feel like hours,
And hours feel like years.
Thats why sweetheart,
I miss you with my tears.
As long as your mine,though
Ill be fine.
Those tears that you see,
Streaming down my face,
They may seem sad,
But sometimes,
Youve got to look
Deeper than my expressions
Deeper into my heart
And you may find
That there is a hint of happiness in them
Because I have you.
For longing,
Wanting,
Striving,
Living,
Pacing,
Waiting,
Loving,
Is hidden in tears of sadness.
And joy.
Even though i know,
That you will stay true,
I cry tears,
Just for you.

    A perfect ending to a much beautiful poem. I love how you dare to write it in free verse..a lot of poets, even the older ones do not dare to take that risk!
