Just Waiting

by Bare My Paradox   Aug 1, 2008

A tear drop splashes
Embraces the chilly floor
And if you ever decide to come back
I'll be leaning against the door

Scratch by scratch I'm rending
Splitting into two,
I've never been timid
But it changes without you

Struming the strings of my heart
You didn't hesistate to break a few
Paragons roll down my cheeks
Such helplessness is new

Haunting silhouttes of your face
They're stuck onto my mind
And as hard as I try to efface them
They just get stronger with time

A tear drop splashes
Embraces the chilly floor
And if you ever decide to come back
I'll be leaning against the door

Well... I must say you have some genuine talent. I'm impressed by the construction of this poem. You've used very good words and that's also very properly. Lines very intense and thoughtful. Fantastic work!

You are hiding, not just waiting. I know about this. now that i am stuck with a muscular problem and i am stuck using a cane. i am hiding too. not in a room or anything, but in my mind, but as you are waiting/hiding you tend to be by yourself and start to go mad.
