Just a Friend...

You may be just a friend
But i will treasure that friendship
For you are the one who gets my attention
You keep my attention an i like that

Though things arent the right way
Your still my friend
Maybe one day soon
It will be more

Your always on my mind
Though we may not talk as much as we like
But your just the type of guy who can always make me smile

    Ohhh, this is really sweet, brilliant all the way. Some of your sentences nearly meant the same thing so i guess you should modify one.. Like when you said .... Get my attention then again in the next sentence said kept my attention.. I think you should check on that. Generally, nice poem.
