Forgotten in the Shadows of Your Dreams

by BrokenREALiTy   Aug 4, 2008

Another soft caress slips through the sheets of dusk,
Smoothing kisses across your skin in memory.
The night embraces the shivers upon your lips,
Dipping trains of goose-bumps petite upon your fingers.

Forgive the sinful looks my eyes have come to give,
But within a fantasy is when desires are released.
It seems my presence is what keeps your dreams alive;
Yet following sunrise, I escape into the backdrops of your mind.

Been laid atop your life is another glimpse of daylight,
Replacing the momentary glory that your mind has fashioned.
Another day decides to set; another day to fade the histories,
And into a mirage my being slowly grows to be.
