If I Loved You Would you let me

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Aug 5, 2008

What happens when you move on
Stuck at night, you're crashing dawn
If I kidnapped you would you let me
If I loved you would you forget me
If I took you to my mansion
In a snowy white December
If I kissed you like I mean it
If I kiss you to remember
If we cozy by the fireplace
I hold you close and save this grace
If I hold you till you fall asleep
If I whisper poems and kiss your cheek
I tell you that I love you
In your sleep you yawn
And you lied there sleeping
Until the crashing dawn
If I held close my dear
If I kissed away your fear
If I kidnapped you would you let me
If I loved you would you forget me?

You should know by now i despise reading these types of poems...specifically while i'm listening to dashboard confessional...anyway

    And you layed there sleeping

^^ Layed should be Lie. Just trust me. My Langlit teacher shoved that down my throat..."chickens lay eggs, people lie down". mhmm.

    good poem.
it's sweet and just...i don't like reading these kinds. but i do. :P
