THE TRAILS OF AN OVER CONCEDED HEART

by Elzanne Meyer   Aug 5, 2008

My ears adhere to the things;
I should listen to
My eyes are at a glisten
As I listen,
To the sound of my discrete feet;
Walking the straight and narrow,
My arms feel like bows and arrows
As my hands seek out and part the way in wich
I ought to go.
My mind tells me to unwind;
As I am blinded by worldly things;
Wich I cannot bring to an end,
As my mind sends me on an overextended journey;
Wich I find topsy-turny
My heart is yearning, and I am barely learning what I need;
And it has disagreed to the worldly deeds wich I cannot concede.
