    What a fantastic write..

    "Sick of the short sighted
    views, the biased and bigoted
    rants that grace my ears,
let the wind carry them far away"

really enjoyed this stanza, very easy to relate with . Often i wish for the very same thing. Great job!

    Steve,

A very beautiful write, one I can relate to.
In nature we can find great comfort, when life gets us down.
    Welcome back:)

    Take care,

    Ingrid

I thought the flow was off in the first stanza as 2 lines are rather long...

    ^and haunts me like a spectre^
I prefer when a line does not begin with and.

Aside from that, I loved your word choice and the poem holds great meaning. Wonderful use of metaphors. A job well done and a deserving win!!!

I loved reading this. I could also feel the wind on my face,,calm and soothing.. taking away the "emcumbrances" of this life you speak of. Life does feel a "drudgery" at times , and we want to escape from it all. When I feel this there is no better way than getting in touch with mother nature.. and letting her ease our troubles away. A brilliant poem.

    The world must turn
So we see the sun rise

    Don't let the clouds
    Always fill your eyes
