The Meaning Of Life.

by ~Patiently Waiting~   Aug 7, 2008

Here's the meaning of life,
Within the next few lines,
I'll tell you the rules,
And I'll show you the signs.

You've got to be good,
Treat others life you'd wanna be,
Live life like you're dying,
Because soon enough you're gonna be.

Do a good deed a day,
And more if opportunities are presented,
And try to view old foes differently,
Try not to see them as being resented.

Respect your parents,
Be proud and patriotic,
And allow yourself, from time to time,
To be silly and idiotic.

Accept other's opinions,
And their right to speech,
Understand what they're saying,
And do not impeach.

Don't hold a grudge,
Except learn and be weary,
Don't generalise with people,
Because results may vary.

Don't go by first impressions,
That is, don't judge a book by it's cover,
Be friendly to your friends,
And find love for your lover.

Learn from your mistakes,
Then they'll become the most important things to be making,
Invest in some generosity,
You've got to start giving and stop taking.

Apply these lines to your life,
Because if you live like this,
When you grow old and are alone,
You'll have a reason to reminisce.

So go out and be different,
Go out and give,
It's not a hard thing to see,
That the meaning of life is to live.
