Social Affair

by Fantasy   Aug 7, 2008

The music is on,
And your screaming,
I try to leave,
But you grab at me,
Your eyes pleading me not to leave,
How can I deny your smile.

To waste time,
I sing along,
I barely know the song.
And when the music stops,
I walk away,
You run up behind me,
And ask me to stay.

This social affair,
It's booming aloud.
But i can't think,
And the sound is drowning me out.

I give a sorry look,
And walk my way,
I can't stay,
I must be on my way.

Ha ha, I think this is a little cheesy, but yeah, I had nothing else to do. I tried to put a deeper meaning into this poem.. it didnt turn out the way i wanted it too but yeah, please comment and rate!!
