2nd chance

Sun so big Sun so bright
Makes me lose my sight
Don't know what to do
Can only see and think of you
Wishing for it to disappear
So my mind can run clear
But the look on your face is oh so sad
Makes me wonder if I did something bad
Suddenly I'm taken back in time
The day I committed a crime
Watching myself steal from that place
And notice the tear drop fall from your face
Knowing what I did was wrong
But forgetting that you were with me all along
Feeling stupid for making that mistake
Hear the ground crack and began to shake
Looking down feeling the heat
Seeing demons coming to grab my feet
All a sudden it begins to close
While your wiping the tear drop from my nose
Back on Earth now able to see
Appreciating the 2nd chance you've given me
