The Boston Strangler Lives Part 3©

by Mr. Darcy   Aug 12, 2008

The path of separation

Echoes of grandeur sound upon my throne,
a pseudonym notoriously vile.
Anonymity weighs now like a stone;
Suppression of self, condemned to exile.
"You useless bastard runt, you disgust me!"
Why was I subjected to such abuse?
Maybe I'm meant to die, Hell's detainee?
Or perhaps, bask as this holocaust brews?
Destiny is beckoning once again;
One last performance, a slick Raven's song
I feel the tempo of my twilight reign
Gathering vengeance for the years of wrong
A dozen pairs of eyes blaze their vengeance;
Soft throats cut short, their lives, and her penance.
