Softly, sweetly
In your ear
Whispers with
No trace of fear

Craving eating
At my mind
Starving for
I was confined

Trapped inside
This tiny crate
Feelings others
Can't relate

You freed me from this
Cold, dark cell
Coaxed out all
I couldn't tell

Whispers of
My growing thirst
This want of love
Must be dispersed

Those eyes, those lips
That saved my soul
Those words that touched
And helped console

A brilliant star
My shining knight
Sweet whispers of
Our loves delight

A flame that burns
Forever rages
Love that echoes
Through the ages
