We were once best friends..

We were once best friends who cared what was wrong,
but I guess I should have known this all along.
We fight and fight and then its done,
But now look at what has become.
As the tears roll down my soft pale face,
I wonder how its possible for someone to take your place.
As I know this is impossible you see,
Because you have no idea how much you mean to me.
I have stood up for you through thick and through thin,
Its your loving heart I could feel within.
When I think of all the times that we had,
Whether they were happy or maybe even sad.
I don't know how I can do this all without you,
Because deep inside I know you know it too.
Your the one I went to, about everything that troubled me,
You were the only one who would listen and could actually see.
You seen the pain within my eyes,
You could just look at me and tell, then you cried.
We held each other and cried together,
We wanted this to be like this forever.
So we promised forever, and forever I meant,
An angel to me god had sent.
But now you are gone and my angel had flown away,
This was definitely not a very pleasant day.
