My daddy is a soldier.

by Jenn   Aug 19, 2008

My Daddy Is A Soldier,
Fighting For what He believes is right.
I don't see him on the weekends,
And he fights all through the night.

We wait so long for a single letter,
Letting us know that he is fine.
But sometime in the following week,
He'll be going to the front line.

My Daddy is a soldier,
Please don't say "What he's doing is wrong"
Because he's fighting for freedom,
For you, your father, and your mom.

My daddy is a soldier.
A Hero in my eyes.
But yesterday we received a letter,
That nobody knows where his body lies.
