Eternity

by Searching for Guidance   Aug 19, 2008

Have you ever felt like the world is out to get you?
Like in everything you say or do,
Someone is there to watch you fall.
Flat on your face
In a public place.
And you wear nothing, but a frown.
Ever afraid that you'll drown?
In a huge pool of broken dreams,
Sometimes it seems
In all you do, it will NEVER be enough.
Life is so tough.
Which path should you choose?
Safety and security, or risks and adventure
Will you find the cure for the common cold?
Or fall in love and be quite bold?
The truth is, no on really knows.
I'll just be ready, and on my toes.
Whichever direction my life goes
Take what's thrown at me with ease.
Not worry about others with whom I could please.
Live my life to the best of my ability
Concur each obstacle with agility.
I will leap o'er the moon
Sail a pontoon,
Run and jump through the meadows fun and free
And be all I can be
While here and in eternity.
