To End All Wars

Today brings the dawn of a brand new world,
Where kindness, hope, and love unfurl.
Drop your weapons and open your arms,
We will create a home without harm.

What will it take to get you to say,
That how we are living isnt the way.
So take my hand, stand up and say,
It's just about time we've ended the fray.

    Although I love the idea and I think most of us wish it could be this way, the reality is it'll never be. I thought to poem was written well, but could have been a little bit better. In the second stanza you used "Say" twice and it takes a lot out of the poem for me. I gave it a 4/5 good job all in all GG23

    Were you influenced by the song Imagine when you wrote this? Because it made me think of that. It's a short poem but it's message is consise and to the point. Great job!

    I LOVE THIS. It reminds me of my latest poem... about how this world is changing... and it should notbe. "how we are living isnt the way." best desribes it.
