Hope is never lost

Hope is never lost
Only tossed away

Love is never gone
But rather ones choice to stray

Inside we each longed to remain
True and faithful in test

but flesh we sometimes surrender
in all its unpleasantness

going back there is no option
only forward can we move

the paths we choose this journey
we find only one leads to truth

steps set before us
Marked from on high by Him

Yet the advance is unclear and empty
until one chooses to walk in them

occasion will arise
and will one day bring to light

laying open all our wrongs
every sin deceit and lie

and it shall also award our Virtue
each step taken in the Light

this is no simple task for anyone
remain untainted by doing right

Even thru pain and suffering
is there joy and freedom from strife

is there truly peace and happiness
that can fulfill a persons life

as this vessel pours itself empty
of every stain this lifes acquired

from ones knees, humbly
will they pass thru the fire

and as everything burns off us
only these shall last with us

Thru His Grace and Mercy
Abide Faith and Hope and Love
