Hope Through Tragedies

by Krissymkitty   Aug 25, 2008

Raining;pouring
She stares out the window
Locked in her room
From the outside

She hears them coming
And shakes with fear
The bolts start to unlock
As she hides in the corner

They come busting in
Raged and drunk
They've brought guns
And new people

They find her
And drag her outside
She screams in fear
As they tie her up

Your time has come
They said to her
As they start coming closer
She closes her eyes

She trys to think
About good times she's had
As their hands
Go to her buttoned shirt

She screams
And crys
For this happens to her
All the time

After they're done
They drag her back
Where she is bolted in that room
Once again

But this time is different
She took one of the guns
So when they come up tonight
She'll fight her way out

They came back up
And opened the door
The last thing her dad heard
Was the ring of the gun

She fired and fired
Until no more bullets were left
Then Hope walked out the door
To see daylight again...
