As the sun goes down

by Chelsea Miller   Aug 27, 2008

As we walk along this beach,
With the sand between our toes,
The soft breeze blowing though our hair,
And the fresh air beneath our nose.

The seagulls cawing though the sky’s
The whisper of the winds,
As the waves roll along the shore,
And the crickets begin to sing.

The waters wash up seaweed,
And the sun begins to set,
The birds are ready to sleep,
As the night sky’s appear,
And all our worries we can forget.
