Dark Knight

Could you be my Dark Knight?
My heart surgeon to save my life"
The one who I hold like my pillow?
Sqeezing you to keep away my fright?

I deemed you my Dark Knight,
I'm your Damsel in Distress.
Waiting for you to rescue me.
The one my heart runs to for rest.

My Dark Knight, My Dark Knight,
Where have you been.
You've now captured my love, now it's growing deeply within.

My heart was broken, but only I knew.
That was until you looked and my soul and saw right through.

You kissed me here, then kissed me there.
You whispered in my ear, "Let Go I Care."
It was then I was mended, my soul was made whole.
You knew I was fragile, yet as strong as you are,
You gently handled me with care.
