Thoughts of you
Run through my head
As I lie awake
In the middle of my bed

I barely know you
Yet you have captured me
And now as I dream
You're all that I see

Trying to step back
And deny what I feel
Though I know its pointless
Loves grin I cant conceal

I pass you in the hallways
And can't help but stare
And when you smile at me
My lungs lose all their air

That very same smile
Is one that weakens my knees
I'm begging for mercy
Stay out of my head please

I can't concentrate on anything
Or eat or sleep
You're everywhere I go
I'm getting in way too deep

I yearn for a day
You'll give me a chance
But I doubt that fate
Will give me circumstance

So, I sit from afar
Wishing away
Hoping and praying
For that one fateful day
