Take a seat.

by Nani At the Disco   Aug 30, 2008

As I lie here,
I don't think I can quite compare,
Blissful and broken,
Breathing and awoken,
One shake could get me out of my cage,
To see the gray haze, underneath the flames ablaze.

The world crumbles underneath my feet,
You're here with me, so take a seat,
And see what we're about to be.

You can no longer lay on your back and not bother to react,
For this is a senseless act.

The world is crumbling beneath your feet,
Soon you'll no longer be able to stand the heat.

Has your heart fallen apart?
Or is it in your throat?
Have you crossed your fingers, hoping for somewhere to go?

But they've all said no,
So please, take a seat,
And see what we're about to be.
