The Hearts Judgement

by Tifa   Aug 30, 2008

I grasp the life before me
Like a leaf hanging on a tree.
Desperate to never fall
Yet seeing that this life is just an empty mall.

Breathing harder with each gasp
I start to notice the how far bellow seemed to be
Clenching my hands on the thread of life
I began to breathe in a deep breath.

I fly down wards as I let go
Waiting for the oncoming blow
I open my eyes and feel no pain
To notice that feathers are in the rain

I look behind me to see what stopped my fall
Only to be blinded momentarily by a lightening ball
Wings stretched out so far and wide
I began to stare as if it was an oncoming tide.

Little by little the world seem to quake around me
And for once I really did think I was free
That thread of life I held on so dearly
Was only preparing me to live like never before

Life is but a limited time
Use it well, but don't waste time
Because hanging on the thread of life
Just makes everything pass by
Faster than any of us could ever fly

We all yearn to let go
Maybe it's just how fate wanted life to flow
To live on the edge of life
Means really living again

Never being afraid
And never hiding away
From the darkness that swallows us whole
But sometimes we have to trust the judgment in out hearts
