Unquenchable Spark

It was the hardest thing to do
Walking away from you that day
Hardening the desire we have by
All the things we share and say

Burning in my chest and head
Is the emotion of lust and want
Unremoved by my sensibilities
Or your longing words that taunt

I hope this is a chasing thrill
Nothing more than cheap infatuation
I dont want to want your attention
Because feelings are a complication

It seems as though my itch is true
That emotions are now involved
Love and jelousy directed at me
My feelings still unresolved

Maybe we can just pretend to be friends
Longing and passions in the dark
Breaking all the morals we hold dear
To persue the unquenchable spark
