Heartbreaking
falling into the abyss
of lost souls and lost dreams
forgetting the warmth of your kiss

holding back the tears
denying the pain
hiding the memories
trying to keep sane

finding something to grasp
to pull myself out
trying not to drown
in my overflowing doubt

heartbreaking
wanting it to cease
no longer anticipating
for your love to reach me
