The Voice Inside One's Head

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Sep 6, 2008

Screaming in the darkness
Scratch out a piece of time
Roll into a coma
Crash into my broken mind
Twisting in the blackness
Clawing my way out
Scratch out a screaming poem
With nothing to scream about
Falling through emotions
What lie am I beliving
What happy story comes from dreams
That I don't seem to be dreaming
What fallen branch from the tree of life?
What horridly beautiful feeling?
What poised air, and blackened cloud?
Do my lungs steal while breathing
What filthy dark shadow
That fills me and feels so real
What horrid concrete tomb I'm in
Dripping cold and crystal clear
What malevolent darkened body?
Curls inside of mine
Taking away emotion
F**king up my mind

What brilliant dark poem
Simply crafted from my heart
The ice cold catalyst that are these words
That flow forever when they start
The liquid that is inspiration
Is a poison sugar sweet
That pours like blood from broken hearts
Leaves a pool under your feet
Swimming in the blood
Your reflection, crimson red
But the eyes that stare on back at you
Is of the voice inside your head.

^^I want to say something really brilliant abaout this beause it really is worth tht. but it almost made me cry...god knows that...i don't know. : / the voice has to stay inside your head and that's one of the hardest parts. you can't talk bout it no matter how hard you try. . .
