Dove

by Princ3   Sep 7, 2008

From high to low, above and all around

Feathers fall from here to there

A sign of such purity

Flying place to place here and there

Living life above the clouds as if there is no despair

She flys: oh yes she flys as if she needs not to care

Darkness parades the Earth without a sound

This lovable Dove is now wondering who, how and why; there is no love without care

A plague has ran upon the streets and there is no one to protect her from such cruelty

Sickness falls upon the precious Dove, and soon she falls from the sky as if her wing had caught a tear

It falls life-less as if it was shot straight out the air

The Dove hits the ground with a thunderous blow, she lies stiff with no word or sound; now she knows that there was no one who really cared

From high to low, up above and all around, DEATH comes creeping without making a sound

Tears fall down the Dove's beak, the pain is something she can not bear

Covered in shame, oh such humility

Its Heart beats slowly, and the Dove cries out "Why must you not care?"

Her life is fading fast, feathers no longer fall from the air

With it's finally breath of life the Dove only cries, but yet there is still no one there

....."Practice Abstinence".....
