Deeply

We walked alone and everyone kept wonderin what was goin on
but we just kept on walkin like there was nothing wrong
Ignoring all the stares we just kept going along
Like nothing, like nothing was even wrong, even wrong

They saw the truth, the truth that we would fight, that we refused
Never knowing what we could stand to lose
Ignoring all the whispers we couldn't see the cues
and all that, all that we stood to lose, stood to lose

Here we are both addicts to each others love
Yet burning those that we could never leave
And every touch is killing them deeply
But neither are strong enough to stop
Giving in to what our bodies wants
And every kiss is the worse sin
And every touch is killing them
Deeply

It was left to be unseen but everyone knew except you and me
Never guessing what our harmless friendship could mean
and the closer we became the lesser space it was inbetween
never guessing, ever guess what it could mean, what it could mean

We crossed the line, it felt so wrong yet it felt so right
Forgetting our morals we let our passions ignite
We escaped to a quite place that was out of sight
We let our passions ignite, our passions ignite, passions ignite

Here we are both addicts to each others love
Yet burning those that we could never leave
And every touch is killing them deeply
But neither are strong enough to stop
Giving in to what our bodies wants
And every kiss is the worse sin
And every touch is killing them
Deeply
