Your a star

by Marcus blake   Sep 8, 2008

Looking at you is hard
It hurts enough to make me stop
I feel a void around me when you near
Cause the emptiness won't leave
The beginning I once had is gone
The end is all that's left
But now is the middle
The standstill of my pain
I mean this isn't how I saw it
But it's life so let it be
It could be a miracle of tragedy
that's just the way life goes
It wasn't meant to be
I can see now
I'am no longer blinded by my child like eyes
Those tears I once cried dried up
Like the happiness you once gave my heart
But just like rain it comes and goes
Wanting you, having you, I'll never know
Maybe it was me
Cause even now all I think about is you
The first time we met
The day we laughed
The times I talked to you
And you to me
When you would open up to me
And I would finally see
You for what you are
Cause I think of you like a star
A light in the sky I can't reach
And I'am a shimmer in the distance you can't see
