When you're still free as a dove

by MarkKicher   Sep 10, 2008

Every little boy's dream
is to find his sweet little cream.
On his little sugar coated cake,
For my case It started at the lake.

Early life at seven
I found my little heaven.
In a lake somewhere near our place
where lilies and flowers race.

I took a quick sight
of a flower so sensitive and bright.
with her eyes as clear as the dew
who easily took away thy blue.

As her beauty appeared on the water
I saw her smile which quickly made me wonder.
Wonder of God's amazing power
of creating such wonderful creature.

.....................................................

What was a glimpse now turned into a stare,
focused on her eyes I find my self in flare.
Felt so cold on the outside, I started to shiver
she was just to precious than gold or silver.

She moves with the wind around her
like an angel she appeared with her dark hair.
Her skin appeared so velvet from a far
so tender and sensitive, how much could it be at par?

Priceless I guessed
that's a fact I could express.
But amongst this wonderful feelings
sudden confusion came and stopped the dealings.

What could I probably be feeling?
Could this be every man's aching?
My eyes stared at her once for some time
My heart started to beat fast in due time.

Alas! I shouted inside me
This is Love's feeling amidst me.
Love so young and pure
a man's need and cure.

For the first time I felt
Happiness that has never been dealt.
How great it is to love
when you're still free as a dove.
