The blade is sharp
And cold as ice
Just one cut
Just one slice

My blurry reflection
Is shown in the knife
I better get this over with
Time to end my life

I hold up the blade
In my right hand
Breathe slowly
As I gradually stand

Knowing it will be the last
Moment I must cherish
Tears fall down my cheek
As I slowly perish

Fallen to the floor
Blade still in my grasp
Taking in my breaths
Before it becomes my last

Out onto the carpet
My blood fully stains
If only I got some help
Help relieve the pain

No one was there to help
No one even tried
My last thought filled with sorrow
As I laid there and died
