Is there a reason?

by jeriel   Sep 12, 2008

Slowly there are raindrops
Coming from the clouds that seems to be anguish
The wind is almost crying
For that song that she is singing
Everything is in complete silence
It looks like all of them were angels
While I am in that deep corner
Eaten by ignorance
That there are tears flowing in my eyes,
Tears, seems to be like pearls
That comes from very deep water
I want to know whats going on
I wanted to say why?
But then I get tongued-tied
My mind is the one dictating me
But my heart comes out with the decision
Why in every smile
There are tears flowing?
Why does in every laughter
Comes with a cry?
Why every time the sun rises
Theres a fear of a great storm?
Why in every precious dawn
Is darkness waiting to rule?
Why in every beautiful beginning
Are tragic ends in return?
Why all that harmonious things seems
To be have an opposite?

Is there a reason for all?
I m losing my sanity right now
If ill ask you that question
Would you have the guts to answer?
Will it make a difference in my deaf and meaningless world?

Very meaningful poem. I am being touched especially by this one.
Life is both side of a story. Most of us are a bit of a dreamer, we wish for the paradise on earth where there are no more sicknesses, no pain, no death, no war, no lies , no difference between human -beings etc.
As i've said all this is a dream because being we're all imperfect human beings.
Keep on writing. You mat take a look at my poems at your convenience.
