Dreams Don't Come True (Collab)

I dream of happiness and you
But my sadness always clouds my dreams
I hope for honesty and truth
But my thoughts are filled with horrid screams

I don't understand, what it is I did wrong
Was it something I did, or something I said?
We grew up together, forever, so strong
The memories of us, circle in my head

I feel very bitter, dark and alone
I start to scream, only to be heard
I look if you're seeing, but no, you are gone
I start to whimper, all I said was absurd

You told me you loved me, but now you forgot
You said we'd be forever, but thats fairytale dreaming I guess
I am a dreamer, dreaming of things that do rot
But my dreams were crushed just like the rest

I am going to cry, just like I always deserve
I was always the weak one, staying up 'till the break of dawn in tears.
But this is what life is, we crash after we swerve
And just like I always am, I am left wandering in my fears

    Extremely vivid write, not sure who the collab was with but, congrats to them too, tons of emotion here, which i enjoyed immensely, the "swerve" line was my favorite, and overall a wonderful and fulfilling poem, great job to the both of you!

    Awww omg this poem was so fun to write, even though it took like, what 20 mins to write? lol XD umm your lines were awesome, so great and descriptive. I loved writing with you, it was a joy to do it.
