Baths of a Muddled Mind

by InvisiblyHeartless   Sep 14, 2008

Muddled mind drifts to the cloud
Water covering everything but her chest
Chin under, nose held without contact
Mindless thoughts messing with her
Thinking confuses her, teases her
Steam rises, along with the concentration
Nothing resolved, more unknown now
Relaxation a foreign word to the girl
Only sudden decision don't hit her hard
This should have stayed simple
But is anything plain and easy any more?
Helpless she fights the power of choice
Forcing serious thoughts to pervade her
No more will she hold on to problems
Dwindling on them just hurts her somehow
Snappy broken decisions suit her
She is after all a mosaic of unsolved pieces

Once again...your way with words is so effective, raw, and meaningful....

(on line 9, I think you meant to have an s on decision..)
(and, I do wonder....did you mean 'dwelling' rather than dwindling?)
