Whenever I see a clear blue sky filled with golden sunshine I think of you
The serenity and the beauty of the landscape reminds me of your uniqueness
You are yourself and attempt to live as you feel you were meant to
Each time I see you I know the prettiest Orchid is my Orchid Lady.

I have noticed how you gently water seemingly spent flowers then watch them grow
The smile on your face radiates with a chemistry that captures my heart
There are people in this world who are genuine and my Orchid Lady is one of them
Sometimes while I stand admiring you an aura appears to dance around your golden hair.

On days when I walk to our wishing well the green well frog sits there and greets me
If that amphibian could speak I am sure it would ask me why you are not with me
While I am making my wish it sits there quietly as though making its own wish for you
Such is the reverence and heartfelt love bestowed on you by all the forest animals.

When we walk together it seems as though the trees, birds and flowers always thrive
Even on rainy days nature ensures her charges show themselves at their best for you
As soon as we enter the forest you relax your body and I see the joy upon your face
Our hands automatically clasp themselves and all around lays the magic of sheer perfection.

The day we met and as our eyes touched each other I felt my life change for the better
It was as though some magic had drawn us together in a well planned artistic moment
Today as you are living through your uncomfortable illness; I want you to know something
You are as important to me now as you were all those years ago and I have been blessed.

As age slowly takes us in its grasp and calls us to become one of its
kind -
- neither the change in your body; as the change in my own - alters your loveliness
You see we travel through time together and you are maturing like a fine tapestry
