I woke up this morning amidst a feeling of excitement -
- as I opened my eyes I saw my beautiful Orchid Lady laying beside me
For awhile I watched you as your body moved with your breathing and I realised -
- the wonderful person you are cannot be bettered by anyone else on Earth.
Sweetheart, we all have our idiosyncrasies and I know we both do, but -
- should I have to live without you; my life would be barren and have no meaning
Right now I still can't take my eyes off you and know you are my own living angel
You are my air and the source of my inspiration and zest for life.
Without disturbing you I tiptoe to the window and see your furry friends waiting
This sight of nature's animals is breathtaking and I know these animals are here for you
The sun is waking up and peeping over the mountain tops and its rays come into our room
Time to wake you my flower or you will miss this golden opportunity that awaits you.
Just a few moments more as you look so peaceful and beautiful in your sleep -
- I have no wish to disturb this masterpiece of the master's artistry
Yet, awake you I must because you are part of me and I need you close by
