When i was born my mum was crying
My daddy saw how i was fighting,
That cord around my neck so tightly
I was breathing but only slightly.
Daddy could bear it thought he would lose me
Looked out the window and loved what he see,
The sky was flushed pink and held no shame
Thats when he knew sky was to be my name.
They took me back to my new home
New family calling the fone,
They said their congratulations
And at my expence of revelations.
I will always smile at my first memory
I was at my nannys playing hapilly,
All my family there had come to see
And from that moment on i was mee.
