i cant figure out
inside
my mind my body
it aches i wake
in the middle
of the night
i shake i cry
wanting to fly
on wings spread
so wide
inside I'm cold
old, like
I've been folded
up and thrown away
I'm tomorrow's
yesterday
this pain it
just wont go away
it wells up
inside and i
cant figure out why
or how
to get by
feeling like this
feeling like
I'm about to die
my heart
is heavy,
feels like stone
I'm alone
and I've been
thrown
out
like a light
my wings
lost flight
and so did i
inside
no longer
does happiness glide
from
side to side
and
up to down
you're not around
and everything
is so
messed..up
my chest it burns
yearns
for the love
it had before
before the door
was shut
and i
was once more
left
on the floor
alone again
its a vicious cycle
with no end
and no start
things fall apart
and then fall
apart and
your insides
hurt you feel
invisible under
the shirt
that covers the
scars and
the scars
that cover the pain
and the pain
that covers
the life you
have lead
and how many
times you've
been pronounced
dead...inside.
