Twisted wings, and a broken heart

by ViolentlyDisturbed   Sep 23, 2008

Broken hearted she comes
Her twisted swings in hand
Offered at his feet
Tears of sadness fill his eyes
He must repair her wings
So she can fly again
He must mend her heart
So she can love again

Broken inside, he works
To repair her wings
And mend her heart
Tears flow down his face
He gets nothing but sadness
And she can fly again
He gets nothing but a fairwel
And she can love again

Her twisted wings can now take flight
And he can not watch her sower
Her broken heart can now love again
But it will not be drawn to him
His tears fall to the ground
And she takes flight
Only to return when she's hurting
She goes out to find love
Only to return when she is broken hearted once again

His love knows no end
He will always be there
To mend her wings
And to stitch her battered heart
Full of life she flies once again
And his love knows no end
