ALL MINE

She was walking down the street
with a smile on her face
he watched her through the window
as she headed towards his place

she was wearing that yellow dress
the one he loved so much
he rushed to get things ready
before he buzzed her up

he lit the last of the candles
as the elevator made its way up
he wanted everything perfect
and he poured wine into their cups

he greated her at the door
with wine glasses in each hand
and he kissed her on the lips
everything was going as he planned

he led her to the table
and politly pulled out her chair
she looked so beautiful that night
he couldnt help but stare

then he put on soft music
and he pulled her to her feet
he knew she was his one and only
he finally felt complete

"now?" he thought
would be the time
he got down on one knee
"will you be mine?"

she looked at him
tears filling her eyes
"yes!" she exclaimed
at her pleasent surprise

he was so happy
as he slipped on her ring
they continued their dance and
he whispered "your my everything"

he kissed her lips softly
and he held her close and tight
he knew that she loved him
and for once, everything felt right

time seemed to be flying by
soon it was time for her to go
he told her that he loved her
now everyday he could let her know

he walked her to street
and he kissed her one last time
and watched her strutting down the street
and thought "wow...shes all mine!"

he watched her turn the corner
and then walked back through the door
nothing could bring him down right now
he'd never felt this way before

and then he heard people screaming
and gunshots fired nearby
he pushed his way out the door to the street
hoping his thoughts were all lies

he ran past down the corner
into the middle of the street
saw that yellow dress on the ground
and suddenly couldnt breathe

she was barely conscience
and she couldnt hardly speak
he pulled his fiance to his chest
as her blood pooled around his knees

then came the roaring sirens
and they screamed into the night
he said "dont worry baby.
everything will be alright."

she mouthed the words"i love you"
he had so much he wanted to say
but nothing came out of his mouth
and he begged god for her to stay

"please dont leave me baby
i'll be forever yours to keep
i'll love you forever, i promise"
the tears keep rolling down his cheek

he looked all around the street
for some kind of clue
he noticed that her bag was gone
but still didnt know what to do

she took one last look at him
and gently shut her eyes
his everything was gone forever
without even saying goodbye

he pulled her body closer
and kissed her for the last time
"babe, i'l love you forever
and forever you'll be all mine"
