The Love Song Prince

by Ana   Sep 25, 2008

He is a love song, three-forty-three
One that always makes me smile
And I'm at peace for a while
But you'll never understand

His voice is soothing, soft and sweet
Singing notes with every word
Unlike anything I have heard
And you know him just the same

When you're sitting all alone
And the radio is blaring
There's a picture by the bed
Of your love, you can't stop staring

And your favorite song comes on
And the words are just the same
Every memory of him
Ready to drive you insane

You phone starts ringing by
And you pick it up to hear
His voice on the other line
Asking if the radio is near

He tells you its your song
And he's called to let you see
That every word that's singing
Is one that's setting his love free

Let me show you how that feels
For I am married to the love song prince
And he creates that special feeling
Deep Inside me

He is the manifestation
Of your addicting relation
The feeling you feel
He lives to make real

To his love I'm clinging
And I find myself singing

Doo dum dum dee dee
He's my favorite remedy
La da dee da doo
I love you and I need you.
