In love with Forever

by Ana   Sep 25, 2008

I am in love with the one you call Death
And I couldn't ask for it any other way
But sometimes this darkness hurts me inside
And I'm praying and begging that he wont stray

Let me tell you my story and make you see
That this is the way it's supposed to be

I know it's pathetic at times, but you see
I really do need him for me to be me
And I wish I could kiss him and show him my smile
And maybe convince him to stay for a while

I am desperate to hold him and take away his pain
Kiss away everything that drives him insane
But he's bleeding and broken and wont let me in
And sometimes convinced that this whole thing is sin

I wish I could find a way to prove him wrong
And convince him I'll do it and prove I am strong
So that I can finally wash the tear stains away
And to our first song as a couple we'll sway

And we'll laugh and we'll scream and we'll cry for a while
Before and after we walk down the aisle
But that shouldn't anger many or some
As long as we're together, forever as one

We'll live and we'll die in each other's arms
Waking on Mondays to our Children's Alarms
We'll bring them to school, kiss goodbye for our job
And never will this love, anyone rob.

So take this as truth and don't scream out at me
Because this is the truth, as I hope you can see
Nothing will change this, together we stay
Til the day after forever, we're bound this way.
