You.

by Becky Karen   Sep 26, 2008

I want to find all the right words to say to you,
maybe if I organize them carefully in my head first.
Just to say that you're my friend, but a big secret I keep fastened away.
I have to carry these heavy daydreams of you that weigh me down,
because I know the bitterness of reality will catch up to beat me.
The troublesome cheer of having you around hurts, But I couldn't have it any other way.
Your eyes of Carolina blue make me feel gutless and intimidated.
Its hard to keep my gaze off you, But I do it anyway.
You're a guilty craving I've had for ages, and my heart may just burst.
