I've Learned

I've learned that you can't make someone love you
all you can do is be someone who can be loved

I've learned that people change and things go wrong
and all you can do is accept these changes and move on

I've learned that it takes years to build trust
and only seconds to destroy

I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words
cause it may be the last time you see them

I've leaned that the people you care about always end up getting hurt
no matter how hard you try to protect them

I've learned that you can't be just friends with someone you love
and just to remember the good times and work with that

I've learned that it takes real courage and strength to love someone
even when they don't love you back

I've learned that all the people in the world can believe in you but it doesn't matter unless you believe in yourself

I've learned that as long as you try you never really lose
but you learn from the doing and grow from the stretch
